Samburu National Reserve is a rich wildlife sanctuary tucked away on the banks of the Ewaso-Nyiro River with breathtaking views and a beautiful spectacle of the wild in the Northern region of Kenya. You will have the rare opportunity to spot the Samburu Six (rare northern specialist species) which includes the Somali Ostrich, Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk, the Beisa Oryx (Samburu Special), Guenther’s Dik dik and the Reticulated Giraffe during the game drives.

Thereafter, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Arrive in time for check-in, lunch and a short relaxation then proceed for an afternoon game drive.
The afternoon game drive will give you the experience of diverse bird species with the combination of beautiful surroundings of the escarpment and picturesque ridges on the floor of the rift valley in this beautiful salty water lake full of wildlife. The park is also surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands with eye-catching flocks of flamingos that color the shore of the lake pink.

Return to the Camp/Lodge for a shower, relaxation, and after that, dinner.

The sunset over the African horizon will be the peak of this day as you experience the marvellous views of the great Maasai Mara sundowner and round your evening game drive.

On this day, you will explore the marvellous Masai Mara Reserve to unveil the magic that lies in the Big Five! From full-day game viewing with packed Lunch Boxes in Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve, searching for the Big Five and other animals. You may also opt for an early morning game drive searching for the Big cats making a kill, then return to the Camp to freshen up and have breakfast. Spend the rest of the midmorning at your leisure, either swimming, reading a book, or relaxing. Later, have lunch and proceed for another afternoon game drive in search of other animals

We suggest that you complement your Safari with an optional Hot Air Balloon Safari Experience early in the morning at an extra cost. From there, you can proceed with the game drives till evening, combing the reserve in search of wildlife. You can also visit the Maasai Mara Cultural Village to learn more about their Culture and traditions at an extra cost.

Later, proceed for an afternoon boat ride to Crescent Island by taking a break from the normal safari vehicle and get a chance of experiencing a walking safari as close to some animals like Giraffe, Zebra and wildebeests.

Return to the Camp/Lodge for refreshment and dinner.

On this day, you will explore the beauty and charm of Amboseli and if lucky, you will clearly see the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro-Africa’s highest Peak from the Kenyan side-Amboseli.

We suggest you proceed for a full-day game viewing with packed Lunch Boxes searching for the large herds of elephants and other wildlife. Alternatively, you may opt for an early morning game drive searching for the Big cats making a kill then return to the Camp/Lodge to freshen up and have breakfast. Spend the rest of the midmorning at your leisure either swimming, reading a book, or relaxing. Later, have lunch and proceed for another afternoon game drive in search of more animals.

A Premier Safaris Travel representative will meet you in Nairobi, either at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Hotel/place of residence to bid you goodbye as you proceed for your onward schedule.
