Amboseli National Park

It is 240km South East of Nairobi and the second most popular destination after the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
It was declared a UNESCO-Mab Biosphere Reserve in 1991.
The Park is famous for being the best place in the whole of Africa to get close-range views of Elephants as well as the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro-Africa’s tallest Mountain.
Furthermore, Four of the Big Five can be found here with the exception of the Rhino. The other common wildlife to spot here include the Buffalo, Gazelle, Wildebeest and Burchell’s Zebra.
The Park encloses an interesting variety of habitats ranging from the dusty plains, marshy swamps, dried-up bed of lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.
